I.&n= bsp; = ; The me= eting was called to order at 7:00 = P.M.

II.&= nbsp; &nbs= p; Easter= eggs: The board filled eggs with candy for the Easter egg hunt during the meeting= .

III.= Vote n= ew board member: A vote was taken to accept Dave Whitley onto the board. PASSED unanimously.

IV.&= nbsp; Minute= s of the board meeting on = January 9, 2007 were reviewed and approved as written.

V.&n= bsp; = ; Treasu= rers Report:

A.&n= bsp; Financ= ial reports were reviewed and accepted. Troy reported three outstanding account= s, one with an existing lien.

B.&n= bsp; Budget= : A budget needs to be approved before the annual meeting. Troy will prepare a budget to be voted = on at the next meeting. Troy will also assess whether an additional discount is possible.=

C.&n= bsp; Troy noted that Dave Pettit is now workin= g for the City. The question of conflict with his work for the HOA was discussed.= Troy will consult= the Public Works Dept.

VI.&= nbsp; Commit= tee Reports:

A. CC& R’s:

1. Ken re= ported that the homeowners at 562 E Heritage Loop have removed the car that was parked in their back yard which was visible f= rom the street. Ken contacted the La Center Police Dept. regarding the Oregon licenses.=

2. Dogs continue to be a problem running free.

VII.= Old Business:

A.&n= bsp; Easter= egg hunt: Saturday M= arch 31, 2007. Dick Dewald has agreed to be = the Easter Bunny again. The bunny costume has been ordered. Ken will pick it up= on Friday.

VIII. New Bu= siness:

A.&n= bsp; Speed Indicator Sign: The La Center Police Dept. has surplused their speed indicator sign. There has been talk = that they might give it to the Ridg= efield Police Dept. Troy<= /st1:City> suggested that the HOA buy it to place randomly around the neighborhood to control the speeding vehicles. A discussion followed about storage of the s= ign, power source and trailer or vehicle to hold the sign. It was agreed to purs= ue the possibility of procuring the sign.

B.&n= bsp; Annual Meeting: The annual meeting will be held on Monday May 21, 2007 at 7:00 PM. Ken will= reserve the High School library for the meeting.

C.&n= bsp; Curb h= ouse number painting: Ken reported that Tom Firl’s Boy Scout troop would be interested in painting the house numbers on the cu= rbs for our HOA. The cost of $3 was suggested. Ken will follow up making arrangements with Tom. This service will be announced at the annual meeting= .

D.&n= bsp; Greens maintenance: Roger suggested= that we could possibly get a better bid for the greens maintenance from the peop= le that care for the property near his house on E Heritage Loop. Ken agreed that it would be a good idea but explained that it has been very difficult to get bids because they assume they won’t get the job and = are reluctant to “waste their time going through the motions”. Dave= has one more year on his contract at which time new bids will be acquired. It w= as suggested that some of the board members get together with Dave to see what= he does to maintain the pond pump, etc.

E.&n= bsp; Pond P= ump: Ken reported that the pond pump has been replaced by Dave and is running we= ll. Thanks to Roger for purchasing the pump and fixing the lights.
